Job summary

Little City Foundation is seeking a Transportation Operations Assistant to support daily transportation services. You will coordinate appointments, assist with fleet management, and ensure safe, compliant operations for the agency’s programs and clients.

The role requires a high school diploma and a valid IL driver's license with experience in transportation or logistics. Spend the day in a dynamic nonprofit setting, coordinating routes, insuring vehicles, and maintaining required documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of transportation, logistics, fleet operations, or related experience preferred.
• A valid IL driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must meet Little City Finance/PACE certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate appointments and resources for transportation needs.
• Assist with data collection and reporting for PACE programs.
• Arrange pickups/drop-offs for fleet vehicles for maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain transportation records, logs, and documentation for audits.
• Drive agency vehicles and transport individuals safely and respectfully.
