Performance Food Group is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver teams, training, and performance. The role ensures safe, timely deliveries, DOT compliance, and accurate driver documentation within a fast-paced food distribution environment.

The position emphasizes coordinating with Transportation/Operations to optimize routes and reduce costs while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises drivers and staff including training, coaching, and performance management.
• Supports day-to-day transportation operations and DOT compliance.
• Ensures safe vehicle operation, proper use of equipment, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Tracks driver information such as licenses, tickets, and accidents.
• Maintains accurate delivery and driver paperwork (invoices, DVIR, logs).
• Collaborates to minimize operating expenses and optimize route efficiency.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
