Job summary

NFI Industries in Franklin, KY is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to coordinate the dedicated fleet, maximize driver and equipment utilization, and direct dispatch operations to exceed customer expectations.

You will supervise coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers; manage scheduling and payroll data; coordinate load completion in TMW; ensure safe operations and timely reporting. Shift: Sun–Tue 4pm–4am and Wed 4pm–10pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or 1–5 years supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with TMW and PeopleNet preferred.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Strong MS Office skills and transportation/mechanical equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HazMat, FDA regulations; willingness to become certified as needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including coordinators, clerks, spotters, and drivers.
• Manage driver scheduling and payroll data.
• Coordinate load completions and data entry into TMW.
• Oversee invoicing processes and reconcile carrier invoices.
• Ensure equipment is utilized efficiently and maintained.
• Provide daily shift reports and performance feedback.
