Job summary

The Town of Medley is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the vehicle and equipment fleet, including Police Department vehicles and town buses. You will manage preventive maintenance, vendor repairs, and fleet records, and support budgeting and capital planning for fleet operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in fleet maintenance/coordination preferred.
• Valid Florida CDL Class B with Passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and readiness of all Police Department vehicles.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of specialized law enforcement equipment across vehicles.
• Track and document fleet equipment assignments during transfers or upfits.
• Monitor vehicle condition and ensure maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Manage town-wide fleet maintenance for non-Police vehicles including buses.
