Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to manage vehicle acquisition, assignment, utilization and maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable operation across locations.

You will support directors with fleet reporting, create standard operating procedures, maintain fleet data in spreadsheets and databases, and collaborate with branch teams to optimize costs. Travel is 0–15% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum of five years experience in fleet maintenance or repair.
• Knowledge of fleet management and operations desired.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adhere to a budget, monitor performance, and reduce expenses.

Responsibilities

• Fleet, machinery, tools, and equipment procurement to support operation's strategy and budget.
• Support branch locations with preventive maintenance and inspections for safety, reliability, and cost control.
• Support fleet mobilization and demobilization to meet project needs.
• Facilitate transition of fleets within acquired companies to Pye-Barker fleet management programs.
• Collaborate with branch management to continually improve fleet operations.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for fleet operators and supervisors.
• Provide reports to management on schedules, maintenance, and fleet performance.
• Accumulate, validate and maintain fleet data in spreadsheets and online databases.
• Other duties as assigned.
