Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to oversee vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and fleet reporting. You will work with Directors and branch teams to optimize operations, manage budgets, and ensure safety compliance while supporting replacements and disposals.

The role requires strong communication, budget discipline, and hands-on fleet experience. This position may involve travel and requires the ability to coordinate across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years in fleet maintenance or repair.
• Knowledge of fleet management and operations desired.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to monitor budgets and reduce expenses.

Responsibilities

• Support vehicle acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal.
• Assist reporting, audits, inspections, testing and training in fleet programs.
• Provide schedules, maintenance and fleet performance reports to management.
• Maintain fleet data in spreadsheets and online databases.
• Work with branch management to improve fleet operations.
• Develop standard operating procedures for fleet operators.
• Coordinate fleet mobilization/demobilization to meet project needs.
• Ensure safety compliance and cost efficiency.
