Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions seeks a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians and mechanics in a proactive maintenance program for light to heavy vehicles and equipment in the Philadelphia region. The role includes travel across NY/NJ/PA with a remote-based setup and regular site coordination.

Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, with weekly pay and additional bonus opportunities. The position emphasizes safety, training, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of fleet maintenance or operations experience and 5–8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and fleet management/ERP systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all shop areas.
• Oversee multiple shop operations and plan daily manpower.
• Provide support to operations on equipment issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies.
• Handle payroll approvals, documentation, and compliance.
