Job summary
Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in a proactive preventive maintenance program for light duty vehicles and equipment. You will oversee multiple shop operations, plan daily manpower, monitor performance, and work with the operations team to cut costs and improve efficiency while maintaining safe, compliant shop conditions.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of industry experience in fleet maintenance or operations.
- 5–8 years of direct management experience.
- Prior technician or mechanic experience.
- Familiarity with light/medium duty vehicle repair.
- Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead, educate and develop technicians and mechanics.
- Monitor performance and be accessible to all shop areas.
- Oversee multiple shop operations.
- Plan daily manpower to meet workload.
- Provide support to operations regarding equipment issues.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies.
- Handle payroll approvals and compliance documentation.
- Interview and hire shop staff.
