Amerit Fleet Solutions, the leading fleet maintenance company in the US, is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager in Moreno Valley, CA. You will lead a team of Technicians and Mechanics in a proactive maintenance program, ensuring safety and efficiency of a large/heavy duty fleet.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in fleet maintenance or operations.
• 5–8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and oversee multiple shop locations.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Fleet Management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop employees.
• Monitor performance and be accessible to all areas of the shop.
• Oversee multiple shop operations.
• Plan daily manpower to meet workload.
• Provide support to operations team regarding equipment issues.
• Analyze opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.
• Handle payroll approval, scanner downloads, repair orders, and compliance documentation.
• Interview and hire shop staff.
• Maintain clean, safe working conditions of the facility and equipment.
• Communicate with client to meet operations' and company's needs.
• Identify equipment sent to outside sources for repairs.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with laws/regulations and company policies/procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks.
