Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group in Seattle is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to oversee daily vehicle inventory, update statuses, and manage timely repairs across the rental fleet. You will handle vendor POs, vehicle movements, recall-related removals, and daily email requests as part of a broader fleet operations role.

The position requires at least 2 years of office experience and 2+ years in the car rental industry, plus a valid driver’s license and clean background.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of office experience.
• 2+ years within the car rental industry preferred.
• Valid driver's licence and clean background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles.
• Update the status of all idle and out-of-service vehicles daily.
• Monitor overdue rentals and take action as needed.
• Issue POs to vendors.
• Help with the movement of vehicles when needed.
• See that non‑rentable vehicles are vented for repair in a timely manner.
• Respond promptly to all email requests.
• Assist with fleeting and de‑fleeting vehicles.
• Coordinate the transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to the respective vendor or facility.
• Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle, including arrival at the location and return at the end of the cycle.
• Assist with pulling cars with safety recalls out of service.
• Maintain an accurate status of the rental fleet — repair orders, vehicle transfers, and movements.
• Research any inconsistencies.
