Job summary
Walmart is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the service shop within our Transportation Team, ensuring fleet maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance across the logistics network. You will lead shop associates, drive performance, and implement plans to meet production and quality goals.
You will forecast staffing needs, manage workload, analyze reports, and develop talent through coaching and feedback while upholding Walmart’s standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 3 years’ fleet maintenance experience OR 5 years’ fleet maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive and implement business plans to achieve facility goals in production, quality, and safety within the service shop.
- Forecast staffing needs, manage workload, and monitor performance outcomes to align with business demands.
- Monitor and manage productivity, ensuring compliance within the service shop, and prepare and analyze business reports to drive improvements.
- Supervise and manage shop associates and leaders, providing direction, monitoring performance, and offering feedback and development opportunities.
- Oversee shop operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as Walmart’s quality and safety standards.
