Knight Transportation is seeking a qualified professional to lead a fleet of 30+ drivers and optimize daily operations. The role focuses on profitability, safety, and service excellence within a fast-paced environment.

You will build relationships with Driving Associates, coach for performance, and work closely with planners to align lanes and loads while maintaining strong payroll accuracy and driver engagement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Must be able to lead others.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment.
• Must be proficient in MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead a fleet of 30+ drivers and manage driver availability to maximize productivity.
• Routinely review Profit/Loss (P/L) for assigned area and maximize profitability.
• Develop relationships with Driving Associates to improve safety, service, equipment care, fuel performance and retention.
• Coach Driving Associates to meet weekly mileage goals and manage home time and hours of service.
• Collaborate with Planners to assign drivers to lanes that best serve the company and the driver.
• Discuss loads and service expectations with drivers, and provide training as needed.
• Ensure payroll accuracy for assigned drivers and provide timely reviews.
