The University of Central Florida is seeking an Automotive Operations Manager to lead a high-impact university fleet program. You will oversee vehicle acquisition, utilization, life-cycle planning, and motor pool operations to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective service across campus.

You will develop budgets, manage maintenance and fuel programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with departments and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required; 4+ years of relevant supervisory experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the university's fleet program, including vehicle acquisition and life-cycle planning.
• Develop operating and capital budgets for maintenance, fuel, rentals, and replacement reserves.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; liaison with departments, vendors, and external agencies (e.g., FDOT).
• Oversee IWMS AiM asset management with lifecycle tracking and preventive maintenance.
