Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to oversee the on-site maintenance and condition of the Zipcar fleet in the Philadelphia market. You will manage staff and vendors, set priorities, and drive cost-effective operations at the airport location, ensuring high fleet readiness and service standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing upkeep, negotiating contracts, and analyzing metrics to optimize performance and reduce downtime while supporting the company’s operating plan and data

Qualifications

• Experience managing staff, contractors, and vendors.
• General knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills.
• Financial and operational analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee upkeep, maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of the area fleet.
• Negotiate and manage vendor service contracts.
• Analyze when vehicles should be repaired to maintain condition.
• Manage in-fleeting/de-fleeting and branding installations.
• Monitor budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities; produce reports for senior management.
• Supervise fleet staff and vendors.
• Support annual operating plan and data reporting.
