Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Philadelphia is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to lead on-site fleet upkeep and oversee daily operations at our airport location.

You will manage maintenance, negotiate vendor contracts, track budgets, and drive performance with data-driven reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing staff, service contractors and other vendors.
• General knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• The ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
• Strong process orientation.
• Good financial and operational analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor performance on hundreds of weekly tasks to maximize vehicle condition and uptime and minimize costs.
• Analyze historical trends and current operating metrics to identify actionable insights.
• Oversee budgets, delivering operational activities within financial targets and identifying opportunities to reduce costs.
• Work with Business Units to support performance improvement decisions.
• Contribute to the preparation of Zipcar's annual operating plan.
• Produce reports and visual representations of data for senior management.
