Sunstate Equipment Co. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Manager, Fleet Operations to lead a team of three Fleet Coordinators and oversee fleet activity, procurement, and field logistics.

You will coordinate equipment transfers, manage supplier deliveries, and develop reporting and SOPs to ensure efficient operations. Success requires 3+ years in fleet or logistics management, strong Excel skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional initiatives with IT and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience leading a team.
• Experience in fleet operations, logistics, procurement, or related field.
• Strong Excel skills to organize and analyze fleet data.
• Ability to travel periodically to branch, field, supplier locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three Fleet Coordinators supporting enterprise fleet operations.
• Oversee movement and repositioning of rental equipment across markets based on business needs.
• Provide oversight to maximize load efficiency and cost-effective equipment movement.
• Coordinate with field operations and logistics teams for fleet transfers and equipment availability.
• Manage fleet procurement workflows, including purchase orders to equipment suppliers.
• Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to track orders, ETAs, and changes.
• Develop and maintain fleet SOPs and reporting to support decision-making.
