Qualifications

• Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Mechanical knowledge of construction equipment.
• Basic computer and typing skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual is a plus.
• Capable of lifting required weights and handling physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to establish daily work priorities of shop and yard employees.
• Facilitate effective communication with shop via huddles, meetings, and one-on-one interactions.
• Assist with major equipment repairs and communicate warranty or damage issues to management.
• Ensure availability of essential shop supplies for seamless operations.
• Serve as liaison between shop and office for equipment issues and repairs.
• Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting and repair techniques for equipment.
• Provide welding instruction and safety training as needed.
• Inspect and prepare equipment for rent, including documentation and records.
