Job summary

P&S Transportation is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee daily driver activities across our nationwide fleet. The role emphasizes coordinating with load planners, directing driver tasks, and ensuring safety and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a logistics background, experience with dispatch software, and strong communication and interpersonal skills. This is a salary position focused on expanding a growing carrier network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field or experience in dispatch/fleet management (1–3 years).
• Proficient experience with truck dispatch software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ETAs with load planners.
• Use McLeod to assign work to drivers nationwide.
• Direct daily activities of drivers to designated territories or operations.
• Guide drivers on compliance with local, state and federal trucking laws.
• Ensure drivers are safe, productive and deliver on time.
• Counsel drivers and assist with over-the-road issues.
• Help drivers keep documents up to date (license renewals, random drug tests, and physicals).
