Qualifications

• 3–5 years in fleet, equipment, or maintenance management.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Knowledge of vehicle load safety and compliance.
• Ability to maintain accurate maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect or coordinate inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment for safe readiness.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recs and usage.
• Schedule maintenance with internal mechanics or vendors.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs or replacement equipment.
• Review repair estimates and monitor service quality.
• Maintain service records, warranties, and inspection schedules.
• Remove unsafe equipment from service until repairs are complete.
• Assign equipment to crews based on daily schedules.
• Respond promptly to field breakdowns and equipment concerns.
• Prepare weekly fleet reports on availability and costs.
