Job summary

Growing Seasons Landscaping is seeking a seasoned Fleet & Equipment Manager to lead our Fleet & Maintenance department, overseeing trucks, trailers, and equipment. You will drive uptime, regulatory compliance, parts inventory, and long-term fleet planning, reporting to ownership.

The ideal candidate will develop systems to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, manage the shop team, and collaborate with ownership on capital planning and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management or shop leadership.
• Experience with maintenance programs and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Shop Foreman and mechanics; manage daily workflow and priorities.
• Maintain accurate fleet records including mileage, hours, utilization, maintenance history, and costs.
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules; ensure timely services.
• Manage inspections, registrations, and telematics; ensure compliance.
• Negotiate vendor pricing; review invoices and maintain parts inventory.
• Develop reporting dashboards, KPIs, and accountability systems.
