Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a skilled logistics professional to build and maintain driver relationships, optimize driver loads, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet customer and company goals. The role emphasizes strong organization, supervisory capability, and proficiency with fleet systems.

The position requires a degree or relevant experience in transportation/logistics, with preference for those who have managed fleets and supervised teams in a truckload environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years fleet management or transportation experience in truckload industry preferred.
• 6–12 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs (home time, payroll, etc.).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize loads.
• Interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers with the Dedicated Logistics Manager/Operations Manager.
• Ensure timely attendance per shift as scheduled by supervisory personnel.
