Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to build and maintain driver relationships, coordinate with the Dedicated Logistics Manager, and optimize loads using our operating systems and driver communications. You will work with multiple departments to ensure efficiency and driver satisfaction.

The role requires leadership experience, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of fleet operations within the truckload industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• 2–3 years fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• 6–12 months supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships using our systems, driver telements, and direct communication.
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads by origin, destination, freight type, miles and stops.
• Interface with departments such as billing, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance and external vendors.
• Work with the Dedicated Logistics Manager/Operations Manager to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Timely and regular attendance according to scheduled shift.
