Job summary

State of Missouri seeks a Fleet Coordinator in Jefferson City to manage a diverse fleet including vehicles, trailers, boats, motors, UTVs and ATVs. You will handle purchasing, replacement analysis, and ensure compliance with state statutes and regulations.

You will maintain asset inventory in SAM II, develop replacement plans, track deliveries, and manage titles and records while supporting department budgets and program needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet management or similar operations is preferred.
• Ability to manage inventory, replacement planning, and recordkeeping.
• Familiarity with fleet budgets, cost controls and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of licensed vehicles and related assets.
• Develop an annual replacement plan by analyzing utilization and condition.
• Manage receipt and delivery of new vehicles; ensure proper paperwork.
• Assist with budget input and development for vehicles.
• Provide advice on vehicle use, maintenance and replacement needs.
• Oversee disposals and sales of surplus vehicles and update records.
• Oversee the WEX fuel card program for the department.
• Serve as backup to other General Services tasks such as mail and facility requests.
