Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our customers with on-site service calls. You will maintain fleets and perform diagnostics at client locations, providing expedited expertise for trucks and equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability required.
• Peterbilt, International, Ford, Hino, Isuzu, Cummins & ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment per company standards.
• Perform basic truck maintenance: fueling, oil checks, cleanliness, inspections.
• Manage inventory on service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to Service Manager and follow daily duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedules.
• Read job orders and use diagnostic tools to determine repairs.
