Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking an Experienced Mobile Diesel Technician to support our fleet at client sites. You will handle on-site service calls, basic maintenance, diagnostics, and responsible documentation using company systems.

We value tenured technicians with strong ASE certifications; a CDL is preferred but not required. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany a leadership position in the commercial truck industry.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• Current CDL is preferred but not required.
• Medical card as required by FMVSS.
• ASE certifications and other brand certifications are preferred and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Handle basic maintenance including fueling, oil checks, cleaning and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Respond to service calls at client locations and document work performed.

Skills

Class 7 & 8 technician experience

Five years field experience

CDL preferred
