Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanic Journeyman to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a diverse range of equipment, from delivery vans to heavy‑duty tractors and trailers, tackling diesel and gasoline propulsion systems, brakes, electricals, and engine controls.

You may work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on location, and you must bring your own hand tools to perform the duties.

Qualifications

• Active driver’s license
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including various weekly schedules
• Possesses the required hand tools to perform the job assignment
• Class A/B CDL (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meets DOT requirements for the job assignment
• Handles physical tasks including bending, crawling, climbing stairs and lifts as required
• Operates standard/manual transmissions and power tools
• Repairs and maintains a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty tractors, and trailers
