Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, and more, ensuring uptime and safety on-site in Orlando. Training is provided; CDL is a plus, and shifts may vary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational or technical certification in diesel engine repair preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Experience as a diesel/fleet/heavy equipment mechanic is a plus.
• Ability to work variable shifts and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in multiple trucks and heavy equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engines and transmissions.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Follow safety policies and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Stay current on diesel engine repair techniques through ongoing learning.
