Zusammenfassung

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Orlando, FL to maintain a fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, and other equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and service diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and ensure safe, efficient operation of vehicles to meet delivery schedules.

Entry-level candidates are welcome with on-the-job training; CDL is preferred. The role emphasizes safety, record-keeping, and teamwork within a supportive, growth-focused company.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational certification in diesel engine repair is a plus.
• Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician is advantageous.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment and willingness to learn new technologies.

Aufgaben

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in fleet vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repairs.
• Rebuild, replace, or repair major components such as engine heads, blocks, starters, and transmissions.
• Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures in workshop and on job sites.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work using company systems.
• Stay updated on the latest diesel engine technology and repair techniques through ongoing learning.
