Job summary

Lime Mechanics in Lubbock, TX is seeking qualified technicians for on-site, contract work maintaining our shared fleet. You will inspect, repair, and service vehicles to ensure safe operation and high availability across our micromobility fleet.

The role focuses on hands-on mechanical work, battery management, and precise documentation, with opportunities to contribute to inventory and safety programs. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs / 35 kg on a frequent basis.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fleet compliance and quality checks for deployment.
• Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
• Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles.
• Manage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and more.
• Ensure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
• Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles.
• May assist with tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly.
• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
