Job summary

Lime, the leading global micromobility company, is seeking mechanics in Indianapolis to maintain our fleet of shared vehicles. You will perform diagnostics and repairs from basic maintenance to electronic component replacements, while following safety procedures to ensure rider safety.

You'll handle battery operations, assist with tire maintenance, manage inventory of tools and parts, and document quality checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs (35 kg) frequently.
• Experience with pallet jack or push cart is preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving and quick repair skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Safety-oriented with ability to perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational compliance of fleet and complete quality checks.
• Perform repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic part replacement.
• Follow established safety procedures to ensure Lime riders are on the safest vehicles.
• Manage battery operations such as inspection, rotation, check in/out, and more.
• Ensure accurate documentation of completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
• Support inventory management and organization of tools, parts, and vehicles.
• May assist with any level of tire maintenance including changes, inflation, or assembly.
• Maintain and abide by safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse.
• Maximize the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing tasks assigned.
• Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart on a frequent basis.
• Additional job related tasks as assigned
