Lime is hiring Mechanics to maintain its fleet of shared vehicles in Texas. You will perform quality checks, diagnose and repair from basic maintenance to complex electronic parts, manage battery operations, and document results.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient task completion to maximize available vehicles. Ideal candidates are 18+, with maintenance experience, able to lift 65 lbs, and comfortable with shifts that include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a similar industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 65lbs (35 kg) frequently.
• Knowledge of mobile apps; iOS experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork ability.
• Safety-minded with thorough quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet and perform quality checks for deployment.
• Repair fleet from basic maintenance to complex electronics.
• Follow safety procedures for safe Lime riders.
• Manage battery operations: inspection, rotation, check-in/out.
• Document completed quality checks for vehicles and parts.
• Support inventory management and tooling organization.
• Assist with tire maintenance as needed.
• Operate pallet jack or push cart safely.
• Maximize operational vehicles by completing tasks efficiently.
