Job summary

Transco Lines Inc (TLI) in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a Driver Supervisor to manage drivers and serve as the primary communications link in Operations. You will oversee performance, data entry accuracy, and safety metrics while coordinating with load planners and fleet teams to meet service expectations.

The role requires a 2-year related degree or 1-2 years of related experience, plus transportation experience and intermediate Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in related field.
• 3-year experience in transportation.
• Demonstrates decision-making ability with little supervision.
• Intermediate user ability for Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sole communications link to driver, including load information, advances, purchase orders, maintenance coordination and dissemination of general company news.
• Responsible for assigned full board of tractors and drivers, including management for optimum performance.
• Ensuring data entry is correct; minimal coding errors on service failures.
• Fleet Managers are responsible for 97% data entry accuracy.
• Maintain safety and service metrics; coach drivers on hours of service and CSA scores.
• Plan workload with Load Planners and other Fleet Managers.
• Communicate road conditions and safety information to drivers and HR.
• Handle driver complaints and escalate appropriately.
