Job description

• Provide clients with a consultative approach to managing fleet performance and recommend cost containment measures
• Prepare summary reports showing driver compliance improvements and cost containment
• Make strategic decisions regarding cost containment and streamlining activities
• Set up tracking and reporting to secure client buy-in for cost-saving opportunities
• Analyze client reporting based on Statements of Work to support policy adherence and cost containment
• Present Business Reviews with the Director of Strategic Programs, covering service goals, costs, cost reductions, maintenance, opportunities, and relationship management
• Identify and present opportunities to increase product penetration
• Lead new client activation for assigned portfolio clients
• Use Wheels systems extensively, including Salesforce, FleetView, and CSD
• Manage assigned Salesforce cases within established Operational Level Agreements
• Recommend fleet policy changes and enhancements to improve administrative efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage maintenance and accident repair approvals, including repair and rental vehicle decisions
• Manage client inventory, driver assignments, vehicle moves, and storage for optimal fleet utilization
• Manage vehicle depreciation structures and recommend vehicle replacements based on fleet policy and usage
• Participate in corporate projects such as Quality Improvement or Lean Process initiatives
• Provide analytical and exception reporting focused on life-cycle costs, including acquisition, maintenance, fuel, and remarketing
• Ensure data integrity for client billing and reports
• Create and execute actionable fleet-management plans aligned with annual client goals
• Monitor and report maintenance and fuel program outliers and communicate findings to management and drivers
• Design and implement processes to mitigate operational risks and losses
• Analyze fleet performance and communicate findings and future implications to clients
• Manage vendors and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Fleet Management experience, preferably in the private sector
• Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification preferred
• Understand, create, and implement a Fleet Leasing and Management policy
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient verbal and written communication
• Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; PowerPoint preferred
• Proficient at Excel, including running pivot tables and analyzing data
• Proficient at utilizing MS Project and Excel to manage client action items, milestones, and cost analysis
• Ability to work independently and manage time while juggling competing priorities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to department needs
• Successful completion of drug and background screening required
• Ability to speak, hear, see, and use hands and fingers for computer keyboard and phone
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and reach above head to pull paper attachments
