Job summary

Glacier Fish Company, a leading seafood producer based in Seattle, seeks an IT/Procurement professional to manage the Fleet Management software (Tero Marine) and maintain vessel parts inventories. You will train staff, generate reports, and ensure accurate vendor data across procurement systems.

The role requires 3+ years in purchasing, ERP experience, and strong English communication. On-site work at our Seattle office with competitive compensation and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business or related field preferred or experience in lieu of education acceptable.
• 3+ years’ experience in purchasing.
• Experience administering maintenance parts inventory systems preferred.
• Knowledge of ERP and parts inventory/maintenance systems.
• Excellent MS Suite skills and ability to learn new software integrations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer and main point of contact for Fleet Management software (Tero Marine).
• Maintain vessel parts inventory control system with annual inventories.
• Provide training and support on Tero Marine and troubleshoot issues.
• Build reports on parts usage and inventory for end users.
• Audit and maintain vendor and parts data to keep data clean.
• Oversee new vendor and parts setup in procurement systems.
• Track shipments and verify quantities against POs/invoices.
• Support Purchasing with cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain management modules: Maintenance, Jobs, Budget, Procurement, Shipping.
• Conduct vendor research to improve profitability and efficiency.
