About the Role
Fleet Mechanic – In partnership with Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA), you will play a key role in ensuring fleet reliability and supporting driver safety. You will work independently while receiving coaching and direction when needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work with a high degree of independence while performing preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs
- Utilize leading-edge technology and programs including voice-application PM, Noregon diagnostics, Mitchell 1, Uptake predictive analytics, TAAS, and more
- Leverage and grow your skills working on diverse fleet equipment, including automobils, light and heavy trucks, vans, and forklifts
- Diagnose vehicle failures, disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts as needed
- Maintain documentation and records such as vehicle records and pre-trip checklists
- Answer service calls
- Help maintain one of the largest fleets in North America
Minimum Requirements
- Own basic hand tools (diagnostic, ergonomic, and high-tech equipment provided)
- Physical ability to lift, pinch, bend, reach, climb, and manipulate objects
- At least 18 years of age
- Must pass forklift driving skills test (if applicable)
- Mechanical knowledge of gas and diesel repair
- Experience with hydraulic and air brake systems
- Knowledge of internal combustion engines
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance
Desired Experience
- Repairing forklifts (propane fuel/electrical/battery systems, hydraulic systems, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Working with computers and diagnostics (iPad, desktop, handheld, laptop, Noregon/Autometer, voice applications, INFOR, Geotab)
- Experience with manufacturing standards (Mitchell 1, OEM support tools, electronics, latest technology)
- Valid U.S. Class A or B CDL for driving trucks
- Repairing heavy-duty equipment (class 8, 7, 6 trucks, brakes, tires, engines, liftgates, Thermo King heaters, etc.)
- Repairing light trucks (EV trucks, gas-diesel trucks, vans, support vehicles, etc.)
