Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Technician I to maintain and repair Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers, ground level offices, and modular buildings. This role focuses on safe, thorough upkeep and proper documentation of work performed.

Under supervision, you will perform basic maintenance, inspections, and service tasks, while coordinating with CDL drivers and customers as needed. Strong time management and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Active state driver's license required.
• Related maintenance experience is a plus.
• Basic verbal and written skills are expected.
• Construction knowledge is beneficial.
• Teamwork and customer service skills are important.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to utilize information technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs as directed.
• Hook mobile office to power source and inspect tire pressure.
• Document work orders and time/materials.
• Travel to customer sites to set up office trailers.
• Operate forklifts when needed and ensure safety.
