Job summary

Republic Services in Los Angeles is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will support drivers as they run routes and service advanced vehicles on the road.

Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical/electrical systems, performing oil changes, light repairs, and basic electrical work, with opportunities for training and growth within a stable fleet environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• 1-3 years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments; oil changes and fluids replenishment; light repairs including tire changes; basic electrical work.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
