Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. Under supervision, you will support our drivers, service advanced vehicles, and help ensure reliable routes across our fleet.

Requirements include 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of vehicle systems; a valid driver’s license is preferred. You will follow SOPs, troubleshoot faults, and participate in ongoing training and career growth opportunities within a

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and light repairs such as oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and basic electrical work.
• Completes applicable training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
