Job summary

Republic Services, based in Stillwater, OK, seeks a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment. Under supervision, you will support drivers as they run routes and service state-of-the-art vehicles, while tackling new technical challenges.

You will work on vehicle systems with a focus on inspections, oil changes, fluids replenishment, and light electrical work, learning new technologies and maintaining quality and safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or related field.
• Ability to follow SOPs and troubleshoot common faults.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for preventive maintenance.
• Perform oil changes, fluids replenishment, and light repairs including tire changes.
• Able to conduct visual inspections to identify issues and malfunctions.
• Complete company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
