Job summary

MTM Transit in Tracy, CA is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance of MTM Transit service vehicles and assist with facility upkeep.

You will perform diagnostics, electrical work, and repairs across powertrains and HVAC, participate in on-road service calls, and ensure accurate electronic work orders while upholding safety and DOT requirements. Qualifications

• 2+ years of heavy-duty truck or automotive mechanical experience.
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain CDL within 90 days.
• Provide own tools including diagnostic and specialty tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair MTM Transit service vehicles to satisfy warranties.
• Service MTM Transit facilities and grounds.
• Perform on-road service calls as needed.
• Complete electronic work orders accurately.
• Communicate repairs and parts clearly.
• Maintain shop equipment and vehicle lifts.
• Attend work regularly.
