Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician (B) to perform repairs and diagnostics on our fleet at the Phoenix location. The role focuses on electrical, HVAC, drivability, suspension, and complete vehicle maintenance, with work orders tracked in our computerized system.

Location: 4525 E. University Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85034. Schedule: Tue-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, Sat 7:00am-3:00pm. Pay: $21-$25 per hour based on experience and certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years auto/truck experience or automotive coursework for entry level C level position.
• Multi-year experience and certifications considered for A/B level positions.
• Ability to obtain ASE automotive series certification.
• Ability to obtain the AC609 certification.
• Experience in diagnostics and trouble shooting.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Provide own air and hand tools as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, diagnose, and repair MTM AAA vehicles.
• Maintain MTM facilities and grounds.
• Repair areas include automotive diagnostics, powertrains, electrical systems, HVAC, and drivability.
• Keep vehicle lifts, pumps, and equipment in good condition.
• Ensure accuracy when completing electronic work orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
