Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician Class A to service a 112-vehicle fleet in Gilbert, AZ. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, with training and ASE incentives provided to advance your skills.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and efficient operation of MTM Transit’s fleet, with on-site responsibilities including shop, equipment, and facility maintenance. A strong candidate will have 4+ years auto/truck experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AC609 certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience with automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willing to pass DOT physical and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair MTM Transit service vehicles.
• Perform general maintenance on MTM Transit facilities and grounds.
• Complete electronic work orders accurately.
• Maintain shop and equipment and ensure safety compliance.
• Attend required safety and vehicle repair training.
