Job summary

Penske Hayward is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead diesel technicians, coordinate vehicle maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable service for tractors, trucks and trailers. You will hire, train, and develop technicians to meet customer expectations, with a focus on scheduling, audits, and cost control.

Travel within the district may be required and DOT safety standards apply. Position emphasizes staff development and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred or 3 years of team management in a metrics-driven environment.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• DOT, OSHA and Penske safety policies knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management to ensure a clean, safe workplace.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
