Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions in Mobile, AL seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead diesel technicians in preventive, mechanical, and electrical repairs for tractors, trucks, and trailers. You will hire, train, and develop staff to meet high customer standards while maintaining safety and performance.

The role emphasizes scheduling, auditing maintenance and controlling costs with strong customer engagement. Travel within the district is possible as required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years fleet maintenance management experience preferred
• 3 years of team management in a metrics-driven environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associates or tech school degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers' needs
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs
• Monitor associate work levels
• Facility management, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Perform other duties as required by supervisor
