Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Hayward, CA branch. You will lead diesel technicians, maintain team morale, and coordinate vehicle maintenance repairs including preventative and electrical work on tractors, trucks, and trailers.

You will hire, train, and develop technicians to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction. Prior supervisory experience in fleet maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or 3 years of team management in a metrics-driven environment.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• DOT/OSHA safety policies and Penske maintenance standards must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske’s assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management for a clean, safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
