Job summary

Penske is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at the Hayward branch to lead diesel technicians, maintain team morale, and keep customers satisfied. You will coordinate and audit vehicle maintenance, including preventative, mechanical, and electrical repairs on tractors, trucks, and trailers.

You will help hire, train, and develop technicians to meet customer expectations. A minimum of 3 years in fleet maintenance management or 3 years in team management is preferred, with no requirement to be a

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an environment with strong operational metrics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Tech School degree preferred.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must comply with DOT, OSHA and Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske’s assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties and tasks as required by supervisor.
