Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and supervise diesel technicians, maintain team morale, and keep customers satisfied through preventative, mechanical and electrical repairs on tractors, trucks and trailers.

The role includes hiring/training and developing technicians to meet high operational standards. The position is a first shift (Tuesday–Saturday) with full benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401(k)/pension plans, and

Qualifications

• 3-5 years fleet maintenance management experience preferred, or at least 3 years of team management in an operations environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Tech School degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Penske assets.
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs.
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction.
• Coach and mentor technicians and CSRs.
• Monitor associate work levels.
• Facility management to maintain a clean, safe working environment.
