Job summary

Republic Services in the United States is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor in Colorado Springs to lead a technician team responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of trucks, containers, and heavy equipment. You will ensure work is performed safely, on time, and within regulatory standards, while guiding performance and productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• ASE Certifications (T3 Drive, T4 Brake, T5 Suspension/Steering, T6 Electrical/Electronic, T7 HVAC, T2 Diesel Engine, T Master) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance; 1 year supervisory/lead role with safety/regulations knowledge.
• Experience managing shop payroll, records, and budgeting with DOT/OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance shop and lead technician team to ensure safe, efficient repairs.
• Plan and schedule repair work; monitor performance; report to management with recommendations.
• Conduct daily shop huddles, coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee inventory, equipment parts, and budget; approve expenses within scope.
