Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs of trucks, containers, and heavy equipment.

The role ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and timely work flow, with supervision of a technician team and coordination with the Maintenance Manager. The supervisor will conduct daily shop huddles, coaching, training, and performance evaluations, while managing inventory, budgets, and administrative duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• ASE certifications listed in qualifications and training.
• 3 years of experience in maintenance with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to lead technicians to ensure safe, efficient repairs and maintenance.
• Monitor performance and redirect activities to improve efficiency.
• Report to management and suggest process improvements.
