Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance staff and day-to-day operations at facility locations. You will be guiding the team in supervising vehicle repairs and ensuring safety and quality practices are upheld.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance, with preferred management experience. A high school diploma is required, and experience in the waste industry is a plus. The position demands strong communication and computer skills, plus flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in repairs and maintenance on diesel powered vehicles.
• Waste industry experience preferred.
• Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and schedule work assignments.
• Coach and mentor employees.
• Ensure the maintenance department maintains quality standards.

Skills

Familiarity with repair manuals and electrical wiring

Attention to detail

Excellent verbal & written communication skills
